Backed!

Yeah... Backed from Pulau Aur... Really wanna thank God that i can still dive despite of the eye and ear conditions i had... had infection on both areas... but God is always on time to heal... although my eyes was swollen looking ugly... but i still able to see properly.. God is a good God!!! so now my eyes and ears are much better liaoz...

Well the trip to Aur was like a Dejavu to me... hahah while on the bus journey to Mersing was caught in a jam cos the whole road was flooded and was raining heavily also... same as the journey back... the Boat ride to Aur was like 5 hrs... leaving Mersing jetty at 12.30am reaching Aur at 5.30am and we have to wait till 7am for the tide to go up so the boat can pick us up... well Atlantis Bay was kind of quite run down... haha... beds not very nice to sleep on and toilets is like oh man... and the place is very overcrowded... no space for a table to have food... but the food is gd and nice... had lots of free milo and cup noodles... although when come back from nite dive the food is cold... especially the chicken wings and Satay... they should have warmed it up for the nite divers... on the boat also was very overcrowded... haha i hate overcrowded dive trips... :P i like the group to be small... cos also able to know ppl well... this time too many liaoz... so hard to socialise also...

Well in summary the underwater conditions there are pretty alright... we are called Lazy divers by the instructors who teaches the other student for open water lolx! reason given that we are always the last ppl who enter the water and stone at the boat... my divemaster Norman took some nice photos... will get them during the next gathering.. below are the summary of the dives...

1) Telok Kaddo: 10:40am, Visibility 15+m, Max Depth 11.2m, Avg Depth 6.7m, Dive time 51min, Water Temp 28 degree C. Saw some interesting stuff like, Stonefish, a rare Nudibranch, Huge Stingray, Baramudi Cod Fish. mild cold current.

2) Pulau Lang: 2:23pm, Visibility 10m, Max Depth 20.1m, Avg Depth 7.0m, Dive time 49min, Water Temp 28 Degree C. Saw a huge school of yellow Fusiliers. Strong Cold Current where most of the time my Mares Avanti X3 is put to the test. In the end was stranded on the tip of the island which is sheltered and waited very long for the boat to come while whistle is blown.

3) Crocodile Rock: 5:42pm, Visibility 10m, Max Depth 14.6m, Avg Depth 7.3m, Dive time 55min, Water Temp 30 degree C. Saw a school of Juvenile Baraccudas and Nudibranch. Mild Current.

4) Crocodile Rock to Housereef (Nite Dive): 7:58pm, Visibility 8m, Max Depth 17.6m, Avg Depth 7.0m, Dive time 47mins, Water Temp 29 degree C. Saw a huge crab its width at a length of my half arm size, lots of Shrimps and crabs, Stonefish and sleeping parrot fish. Strong Cold Current where the fins is put to the test again... the weather was bad... thunder and heavy downpour while we are on the surface before diving holding to the rope... once decend we had a very tiring swim towards the shallow waters... and had a drift dive while holding our torches. one of the best nite dive i have.

5) Jawa to Rayners Rock: 8.30am, Visibility 12m, Max Depth 14.6m, Avg Depth 9.1m, Dive time 46mins, Water Temp 29 degrees C. Did many swim throughs the rock formation, schools of fishes, huge napolean wrasse and the way Norman chase it was very FUNNY! lastly the rewarding part is during safety stop while we launch the SMB, schools of long blue tailed Barracudas appeared... at 3m depth... awesome. Moderate Cold Current and saw a puffed up puffer fish on the water surface... and lo and behold this is my 50th Dive! yeah!

Yeah... hahaha had a gd dive trip overall... Clocked a total of 50 dives at the end of the trip... wanna thank the NUS diveclub for organising the trip... hope to meet up in the gathering soon... pictures will be up soon once i get them! and tml i am working!!! yeah ! 9am NUS Com centre! alright! finally the rotting at home come to a stop hahaha!

Diving Diving Diving !!!

Hey ppl thanks for the concern for the past few days... is getting better... now is like out ear still got wound but not really painful... and left some crap inside the inner ear which somehow create a vacuum feeling in my ears... think tml going to book appointment to clear the ear and give a final check before going diving... and just happens the place is just opposite my hse.. so near... but dunno got slot or not... since is BY APPOINTMENT... well think should be alright ba.. since is outer ear.. no much crap liaoz... pain dissipating.. only left the irritating eye swollen... think be a pirate underwater lol...

Just finished packing my stuff going to bring all my dive "toys" up.... met Joanne today to change the metal ring for my pointer... hahaha had a gd chat with her... shes a very nice fren of mine working in a dive shop... and heard Batam is an untouched dive spot which have potentials of tioman... wooo.. sounds gd... well... hope able to get a introductory visit before the official launch... anyway was sad Milo wasn't there... he is such a sweet JRT lol... yeah... so excited yet hopeing earnestly that tml my ears will be fine... i believe in a miracle working God who is alive!!!

Therefore, I will be away from internet, msn, HP, Emails, Friendster for 2 days.. totally cut of from the world outside on the humble island with only a satellite phone for emergency use... Aur is a nice place to see stars too! haha looking forward with a hopeful ear recovery! yeah! So before i go the below are some info about Aur and a interesting picture i come across while surfing.. cya ppl!

I realise a lot people don't know where is Pulau Aur.. therefore i shall post the map of the location where Pulau Aur is...

Dive sites of Aur... with some recommended sites are Sebukang Bay, Rayners Rock, Pinnacles, Dayang Channel, Crocodile Rock.

And one final picture which i somehow come across while i was surfing the net... this is the result of too much gaming especially DOTA in a kid who is schooling... LOL!

Ear Infection

Haiz now down with Ear infection... it all started yesterday where my ear hurts until i cannot sleep from 1.30am till 4am plus... just went to see the doctor today as it got worsen which make my right eye hurts too... and true enough the doctor diagnosed it was ear infection and is quite bad... haiz...

So now trying to hope that it can heal by Friday as im going diving... it not still as bad i gotta go hospital and abort the dive trip... which i dun want... haiz... so ppl please help me by praying for me ok... now the only thing i can do is to eat and apply my medicine regularly and hope for the best...

Boring Holidays

Hi ppl.... sorry for not blogging regularly... hahaha it has been a week that i last updated the blog... well... right after exams... i have been bumming around until now... so far haven recieve any call from my boss regarding work... still keeping my fingers crossed... really need money badly...

This coming weekend will be looking forward to it... will be going to Pulau Aur in Malaysia to dive... the last time i went there was 3 yrs ago when i go for my Open Water Diver Certification... heard recently the condition at Aur is excellent... visibility 20m ... which is very clear for there.... yeah... will leaving SG this coming friday and be a castaway for 2 days! :P

Recently somehow feel better already... maybe because soemthing is cooking in my life.... hahaha... yupz really hope things will turn out well.... oh yah went to watch Spiderman 3 with Rachel Teck & Selina... kind of draggy the show but was quite entertaining... one line i can remember in the show said by the landlord of peter parker when peter parker dunno wat to say to Mary J... which is... "You are a good girl, Im a good man"... kind of corny... hahaha...

Yupz so now trying to spend my holidays a better way.... and also will try my best to blog more interesting things soon =)... Anyway below is my friend Jason's hamters.. so adorable.. lol.. anyway he is giving away his hamster also :P

Donuts Madness

Woke up in the morning at 11am and saw a sms in my phone... from Yvonne and it says "Gong! u wanna come down nw 4 donuts? t queue is nt v long yet"... wah i saw that thinking that never really buy donut from donut factory... i quickly wash up myself and went down... So i reached there at 12.30am saw Yvonne Rachel and Sharon where they already queue for like 1.5hrs already... hahaha so i join the queue and we yak yak yak till 2pm and we got our donuts... total time spend to get the donuts is 3 hrs! wow... but i play cheat i come like 12.30pm join them ... so i queue for 1.5hrs nia haha :P opps.. below are some pictures to illustrate our donuts queueing experience...

A dozen of donuts!!! yummy! grab and bite some after we queue... it was very delicious... warm and hot and the donuts is fragrant, sweet and soft.. yummy to the max!

In the end we are happy ppl of the day... after that went Minds cafe with Sharon Rachel and met up with Teck and Kenneth... played a few games like around the world in 80days, Imaginative, Charade and Says what.. had a fun time and we went to have dinner at Paradiz centre wanton mee... delicious!!! and i bought my news toys! A new Scuba Pro Mesh bag at 50 dollarsand a new Mares Avantix 3 Fins at 120 dollars... its a gd bargain... thanks uncle for giving me some discounts haha :P below are the pictures of my new toys and my old toys for diving! :p

Entanglement

Time now is 2.45am... after much thought shall blog down some thoughts... just some random thought comes to my mind... Was talking to my frens online... suddenly a game come to my mind... called human entanglement or hand entanglement... where u form a circle and hold the hands with 2 different opposit partners... both ur hands must be different partner... then the whole group start to untangle and finally form a circle.... sound familiar right... is those team building game... i guess many of u all who played this game will remember the process u went through and the exprience... i felt that life... (maybe only pertain to me) is like that game.... be it in the nature of the game... the process went thru... and the expereince... problems, thoughts and emotions in life are like hands entangled with each other.... u try to untangle it... to free it... many times it hurts when u try to untangle... many of the times u reverse back to the previous move... many times u try to think and strategise.... many times u feel so vexed... oh dear it getting more and more entangle... and more.... the whole game is feeling and experience u can just relate to life.... yupz... such ideas suddenly struck me... which is wat i am going through now in life... in love Relationship, Frenship, Church, Studies, Family, Finance, Things of the future and many more.... basically all aspect of life.... Yup Thank God i have God.... which somehow make things easier and theres always Someone to go to in times when i almost cannot take... it is true that being Christian life is not a bed of roses... it will be a lie if someone told u that... nobody is perfect... everyone is striving to be near perfect which is more ideal... the hardship of life is a test to go through to really refine ones character... which i find it very true... my character last time was really cannot make it... now much better liaoz... which i shall save the details cos too much details... yeah... there are many rough patches in life... but i am sure i am fighting a winning battle... but there is no exemption going through hardships... yeah... many have drop out from the fight.... but i will always remember i am called to be faithful, nice and be a blessing to others... i shall press on... although it is painful now... but i shall pick up myself and walk again... blogging it really serves as a reminder... thats y the title is called Keep walking... yupz... 5 long yrs of battle with God helping and 24 yrs of battle as a person on earth... I learn to be a better person... Hope wat i share might benefit soemone too... think thats all for now... Nites

Revisitation

Yesterday went for church family day... it was nice... yupz... really respect what Sun did... after knowing all that she done... proud of her... yeah... so really enjoyed myself... especially is after exam... many ppl would say after exams u should be happy... yeah i am but not fully.... dunno y old problems and the negative feeling all revisted me... yupz... again i was vexed.... really uncertain about the future... this 2 days really has been a tough period to live also... really envious of ppl around me... all the gd things happening to them... and im still stuck at ground zero... yupz really heart sinking and aching... really hate that feeling... it just come unexpectally... so the after exam me dun seem to be happy after all... but well... so many things are beyond my control... and what a priviledge... i always lift it up to God... so really hope that things will turn out well... although i still have to go through this tough period of time... i felt that i become stronger and stronger... now i hope that when time comes.. i have the courage to go for it...

oh yah... somehow i got a revelation "Imprefection is also a beauty"... somehow telling me you dun have to be perfect to be beautiful... there is beauty in imperfection also... thats y sometimes half finished work looks gd aestheically also... reminds me of Ugly betty... Ugly is the new beautiful... which lead me to think that inner beauty is true beauty... which such beauty last for eternal...

Anyway wanna share some things i learnt during the weekend... from Robb Thompson...

1) No matter how difficult things are in life may seem, we must never let our circumstances dictate our decisions.
2) You will either raise your standards to meet your expectations or lower your standard to match your performance.
3) Only the irresponsible are willing to sacrifice the(others) future. In order to enjoy the(own) present.

YES! Exams are over... Finally can let my hair down and relax for 3 months!!! Is has been a difficult semester... Physically, Mentally and Emotionally ... despite only taking 4 modules... never regret that... yupz.... Really Hope to get CAP 3.5 when i recieve the results.... Today's paper was quite alright... managable.. but first 3 questions is tough... the remaining 5 was quite alright... really Thank God he watch over me during the exams... From now onwards many things are scheduled after end of Yr1... things like work... outings after outings... Emerge Conference... Arts Camp and Precamp... Dive trip... Birthdays... O week.... Overseas trip.... is on the way.... Next sem as year 2 planning to take 5 modules... Hope my desired modules will fit into my time table well... yupz... Wanna take this oppurtunity to thank those ppl who stood by me and encourage me during this semester.. especially during the Exam period... ppl like sch frens.. church fren... cellgroup members... really appreciate it... later 7.30pm going to meet up my sch frens for dinner!!! Freedom from academia is in my hands! yeah!

One more to go!

Today just finish my microeconomics exam... well well well... did quite fairly well... got a few questions wrong... dunno y at the exam seat i just can't think of the right answer... mental block... haiz... really hope a minimum a B.... Anyway today just got to know a fren Grace from my tutorial class... yupz is like u in the same tutorial class for like the whole sem and then say hi and make frens... kind of lagging... hahahaha is like the fren i know in HK.... after so long then we exchange contacts... hahah indeed life is very interesting... and today i had donut from donut factory so nice and soft... hahah thanks sharon!!! u fulfil one of my wish liaoz hahaha!

One more Exam paper to go.... that will be EL1101E open book exam... dun be fooled by this word Open book... it means is going to be very hard that u won't be able to find answers from your book.... remember i had the first open book exam is during secondary one... Science paper... remember that time my teacher is Mr Kuo... hahahah... Sat and Sun will be mugging for EL1101E exam... hope i can do well and get a minimum grade of B...

Wah can't wait for exams to finish.. 3 more days!!! and will be 3 months of enjoyment... 2 Papers Down

What a bright sunny Wednesday Afternoon! Just climbed out from my comfy bed... decided to blog before i start my Microeconomics revision... was darn scared yesterday nite as i read thru the practice question... oh man... it really scared the whole life out of me... i really dunno how to do most of the question.. despite of some preliminary mugging last week... oh man... gotta buck up...

For the past 2 days.... my papers are like triggers of dissappointments where both papers are very tough.... monday i had a marketing paper... oh man the MCQ are like... darn tough la... then i move on the short answer question... hmmm ok... quite hard also... and then essay.... is like oh God... last question how to do... but manage to do that question also... really hope i can get minimum B+ out of this tough paper as i bidded 500+ points and never SU it...

Next which is yesterday... is my Macroeconomics paper... as usual my lecturer's question are super thinking one... this time even worse... the question he set... all his choices in MCQ is so hard that u gotta read backwards that kind? Is like u dun even know what he talking about in the choices that kind... and worse is the Short answer question... oh man it was a killer for the last question... think u really need a rocket scientist brain to do it... especially the explaination part... manage to do the last question and get the answers... like r=i=-0.2 which makes full employment output at 8000 dun tally with i more or equal to 0, and second part with Governemtn purchase and Taxes = 2000 and Nominal Money Supply to be at 12800. The explaination i totally crapped it... dun even know wat he asking. Anway the values i got... somehow i got revelation at the last 15min to know how to do. Thank God. Really hope i can get a Minimum B+ for this module and best A-... So next paper will be friday... Microeconomics... aiming for B cos i did badly for Midterms...
